MCA vide its notification dated March 23, 2020, clarified that spending of CSR funds for COVID-19 is eligible for CSR activity.
With respect to the same, it is further clarified that any contribution made to the PM CARES Fund shall qualify as CSR expenditure under the Companies Act 2013
