IRDA has withdrawn its circular IRDA/INT/CIR/ORD/208/11/15 dated 20.11.2015 on the guidelines on “Indian Owned and Controlled” for insurance intermediaries and deleted the para-6 of the said guidelines, as a result of which the above-said guidelines are not applicable to the Insurance Intermediaries (such as Brokers, Third Party Administrators etc).
